Youth Trips: Switzerland

High 5 Events in collaboration with the Lycee Libanais Francophone Prive in Dubai decided to introduce a new trip for the 8th grade students: a Youth Leadership camp in Switzerland!

But actually, we held two camps back-to-back, both to Switzerland, for 7th and 8th graders (the usual 7th grade trip to Italy was cancelled because of earthquake risks).

The new camp did not disappoint! It was a fantastic program run like Swiss clockwork by a fabulous team with activities including ice climbing, snow shoeing, hiking, rafting, zip-lining, avalanche rescue training, as well as various communications and leadership workshops.

We also managed to make trips to the local glacier, the Cailler chocolate factory, and the Gstaad Castle!

All in all, a very good trip. We are happy to make this a new annual trip and are already looking forward to next year!
