Youth Trips: Sri Lanka 2017

High 5 Events has had a long partnership with the Lycee Libanais Francophone Prive in Dubai, and have organized various school trips for the students of LLFP.

For the 4th year running, we have taken a group of 10th grade students to Sri Lanka on an adventure camp, combined with an opportunity of community service.

The campsite is set amongst a lush rain forest on the banks of the Kilani river. The host team of trainers led by Wade and Mahesh, was absolutely fantastic, and the program they put together for our group was exciting and intense. Our adventures consisted of canyoning, hiking, rappelling, rafting, team building activities, shopping in the local village, and more.

Our group also enjoyed a visit to a local school and spent the day helping to repaint part of the school's facilities. Interaction with the local children and teachers was a lot of fun, filled with exchanges, dance and play.

Our stay in Sri Lanka would not have been complete without a visit to the tea plantation in the area, and a quick stop to the elephant orphanage on the way to the airport on the last day.

Another great trips, lots of smiles and long-lasting memories.
